Can anyone message me?
People on your own campus, and mentors you have requested a session with. Contact visibility is a separate setting from profile visibility, and both default to campus-only.
What does a private profile hide?
Everything except your name inside your own campus, and the whole profile from outside it. A private profile is excluded from the directory and from search entirely.
Are alumni verified?
By the college they graduated from, the same way current students are. An alumni profile that has not been verified is labelled as such.
